Goswami community's fame

Goswami belongs to the Indian Hindu upper caste and is also known as Dashnam Goswami. He has made a great contribution to the writing and reading of the Vedas. The Sanskrit compound Goswami can mean "lord of the senses" or lord of the Vedas (Go means Veda). It is also pronounced Gosai, Gosai, Gosai, Gosavi and Gosain. The Goswami community is found all over India and also in Bangladesh and Nepal. The caste has ten surnames namely Giri, Puri, Bharati, Ashram, Saraswati, Aranya, Van, Parvat, Sagar, Tirtha.

Thus Goswami is the one who controls the five senses. But in spoken language, Goswami is also considered to mean the protector and protector of Hindus. The history of the Goswami community is made up of the Indian sub-caste "Goswami" group and is spread across India.
Most of the Goswami community lives in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Haryana, Punjab, Jharkhand, Assam and Bihar. The Dashnam Gusai community in Nepal accounts for more than 1% of the total population. They are worshippers of Shiva. They worship Shiva day and night and consider Shiva as their favorite deity. Therefore, people consider these priests as Brahmins. But technically, Gosai (Goswami) is superior to Brahmins.

Identity of goswami community

The sadhus of the Gosai sect usually wear saffron (saffron) clothes, wear a stick with one hand and garland fifty-four Rudrakshas around their necks. Some people apply sandalwood or ash and make three horizontal lines on the forehead. Three lines symbolize the trident of Shiva, two lines form a point above or below, which is the symbol of the Shivalinga. Dashnami saints communicate with each other with the word 'Om Namo Narayan'. Let's worship Shiva. During the Kumbh Mela, the Gusai/Goswami community also participates in the shahi snan. His main task is to spread Sanatan Dharma. People of all castes and religions greet with folded hands. They are referred to as Babaji, Maharaj, Gusai, Swamiji etc.

To the east is Govardhan Math at Puri in Orissa. Govardhan Math is associated with Lord Jagannath Temple. The mutt covers areas from Bihar to Rajahmundry and Odisha to Arunachal Pradesh.
